  1. Egg squid
  2. Chopped garlic/chopped bird’s eye chilli/mint leaves but we didn’t have any so used spring onion leaves instead.
  3. Lime juice/fish sauce/palm sugar
  4. Chopped garlic

method

  1. Mix lime juice/fish sauce/palm sugar together and taste as you like. Then add minced garlic/minced bird’s eye chilli and mix well.
  2. Boil water and steam the squid eggs for about 10 minutes (depending on the size of the squid) or until cooked. 
  3. Lift the squid and pour out the water. Pour the salad dressing (item 1) over and garnish with spring onion leaves and chopped garlic. Serve as a side dish or as an appetizer.
