How to Make Kuih Keria (Sweet Potato Donut)

Ingredients:

  • 600g of white or red sweet potato
  • 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Ingredients for you:
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 cup of water

How to Prepare:

    1. Cut the sweet potato into 2 or 3 parts. Boil sweet potatoes with salt until soft.
    2. Cool and discard the sweet potato skin. Mash until soft and lump free. Add flour little by little until it can be kneaded into a round shape.
    3. Round the dough and make a hole in the middle. Fry until golden.
  2. Ways to add sugar:
    1. Put sugar and water in the pot. Cook until thickened and mix with sweet potatoes so that all surfaces are coated with sugar.
    2. Cool and serve.
