We modified the recipe a bit and added pecans. After baking it, I personally think that I like this recipe better than Mae Salim’s banana cake recipe. That is, it’s soft and not too oily. The texture of this cake recipe is denser and not as fluffy as Mae Salim’s. If you don’t want to add nuts, you can use chocolate chips instead. But you may have to reduce the sugar a little.
Ingredients for Banana Cake
- 250 grams of ripe bananas
- 1 gram of salt
- 70 grams of granulated sugar
- 20 grams of brown sugar (can use granulated sugar instead)
- 25 grams of yogurt
- 80 grams of oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor
- 1 egg
