Ingredients for Chicken Breast with Almond Milk Cream Sauce

  • 200 grams chicken breast (or other chicken parts of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Original Flavor, 480 ml.
  • 5-10 cloves of peeled garlic
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 bay leaves
  • Salt, as desired
  • Ground pepper as desired
  • 1 handful parsley
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon or juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch

How to make chicken breast with almond milk cream sauce

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.    

2. Pat the chicken dry. Place into a tray or baking pan. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add olive oil until it turns a beautiful brown color.    

3. Add almond milk, 

 Almond Breeze, Unsweetened Original flavor,  garlic, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and parsley. Season with Salt and pepper. Wait until boiling or put in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.    

4. Remove the cinnamon stick, parsley, bay leaves, and chicken from the pan.    

5. Mix cornstarch with lemon or lime juice. Mix quickly until no lumps form.    

6. Pour into the sauce mixture. Bring to a boil over heat for about 1-2 minutes. Simmer until sticky. Season to taste. Spoon and pour over the chicken. Garnish with rosemary and serve.
